We are launching a very special children’s programme during the month of ELUL for all our children (2-12yr olds) at The Edenvale Jewish Community Shul.
Elul is an important month in the Jewish Calendar. Elul is seen as a time to search one’s heart and draw close to G-d in preparation for the coming Day of Judgement, Rosh Hashanah, and Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur.
It is a time when we try and listen to the shofar everyday and we awaken our hearts and our souls to start giving more charity-Tzeddakah , to start asking for forgiveness –Teshuva ( from our family and friends) and to start praying more – Tefillah
On Sunday 11 September 2011 at 2-30 pm to 5-00pm
We invite you to the Edenvale Jewish Community

For a fun filled afternoon of painting , pizza, candy floss ,cappuccino and ice-cream.
