It is the summer of 1968 in Haifa. Arik is a teenage boy who finds himself working for the mysterious Yakov Bride, a matchmaker dedicated to finding love for those with special needs. This job unexpectedly leads Arik down paths that will reshape his life forever. At the same time, Arik faces the challenges of his own first encounter with love in the person of wild and liberated American-raised tauntress, Tamara. This poignant and bitter-sweet coming-of-age story will make you laugh as often as it warms your heart.
