Honor the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. Day at our annual free admission day. The celebration begins at 11:30am in the Museum’s Chelm Family Theatre with The Honorable Louis Stokes, U.S. Congressman from Ohio (retired). He will be interviewed by The Plain Dealer‘s Brent Larkin with a Q & A session to follow. At 2pm follow us next door to The Temple-Tifereth Israel for the a performance of A Conversation Among Icons: Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and Gandhi. The one-act play portrays the conversations that ensue when Dr. King is visited by Rosa Parks and Gandhi in prison. Guided tours of our permanent collections - An American Story and The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery - and our special exhibition, TRAITOR! Spies, Lies and Justice Denied: The Dreyfus Affair, will be available throughout the day.
