Part of “Begin the Conversation,” a series of thought-provoking events designed to spark discussions and community dialogue. Presented by Cleveland Jewish News.

The Contemporary Significance of “Never Again”
After the Nazi leaders were tried for their atrocities by the Nuremberg Tribunal, "Never Again" became the pledge of the intercontinental community. Despite the creation of the International Criminal Court and several other criminal tribunals, in recent years global justice efforts have stumbled. Michael Scharf, award-winning author and Acting Dean of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, will discuss the contemporary challenges and prospects for achieving accountability for crimes against humanity in today's world.
