Two renowned tenor cantors will perform a range of Cantorial, Yiddish, Classic and Contemporary Jewish music as part of Temple Anshe Sholom’s 26th annual Cantor’s Concert on Dec. 6 at 4:00 p.m.
Cantor David Serkin-Poole, who hails from Temple B’nai Torah in Bellevue, Washington; and Temple Anshe Sholom’s own Cantor David Reinwald will dazzle attendees with a variety of Cantorial music and Jewish folk songs. The Cantors will be accompanied by Organist Gary Plantinga, Cellist Emily Mantell and Temple choir.
Proceeds from the two-hour concert will help send area youth to Israel and summer camp.
The program, held at Temple Anshe Sholom, 20820 S. Western, Olympia Fields, is open to the community. To make a reservation, please call 708-748-6010 or e-mail [email protected].
