Kabbalat Shabbat Friday Night Services with Israel Lacrosse Team Head Coach Bill Beroza

Join us for our monthly Kabbalat Shabbat service, dinner and shmoozing as we welcome Coach Bill Beroza.

Bill Beroza is head coach of the Israel Lacrosse team at the 2014 Men’s World Championship and is a member of both the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. An All-American from Roanoke College, Beroza was a three-time member of Team USA (1978, 1982 and 1986), winning gold as a goaltender and team captain in 1982. He also served as an assistant coach for Team USA in 1998, and coached Long Island Lacrosse Club for six seasons, winning three championships. Prior to coaching LILC, he played 10 seasons, winning six championships. He has played professionally for the New York Saints and Detroit Turbos, and was an assistant coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston for four seasons. Bill is currently assisting youth programs throughout the Boston metropolitan area and resides in Boston.

– Free parking is available across the street from the Shul at the Charles River Parking Garage underground next to the Au Bon Pain. Please validate your green parking ticket when you arrive to the Shul. The Shul is also easily reached on the MBTA. Take the Red Line to Charles/MGH.
