First Bible Stories of Jewish Sexual Identities

Conversations at the Vilna is a series of spirited discussions around the Vilna Shul's old study table with local scholars and authors about topics relevant to Jewish identity. This conversation on the subject of "1st Bible Stories of Jewish Sexual Identities" will be led by Lori Lefkowitz. Lori is the Ruderman Professor and Director of Jewish Studies at Northeastern University and founding director of Kolot: The Center for Jewish Women and Gender Studies, the first such center at a rabbinical seminary. She is the author of In Scripture: The First Stories of Jewish Sexual Identities.

Bagels and beverages will be provided. There is no charge for this event, but donations are welcome. Registration is appreciated - please email [email protected] - but walk-ins are welcome.
