Faith Quilts: Inspirational Jewish Women

Category :: Lecture
Conversations at the Vilna is a series of spirited discussions around the Vilna Shul's old study table with local scholars, authors and community leaders about topics relevant to Jewish identity. This conversation will be led by Steffi Aronson Karp, the creator of LimmudBoston, the annual Jewish cultural celebration. She is also the founder and publisher of the former Tree of Life Book Club, a program designed to deepen Jewish literacy. A graduate of the Elat Chayyim Davennen Leadership Training Institute, Steffi's passion is to create Jewish lifelong learning opportunities for all ages. Steffi is an avid quilter. She fostered the creation of the Inspirational Jewish Women quilt for the Faith Quilts Project in 2005-06 and she made the Torah covers for Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in West Newton.

Bagels and beverages will be provided. There is no charge for this event, but donations are welcome. Registration is appreciated - please email [email protected] - but walk-ins are welcome.
