Suburban Orthodox Congregation invites Jews from all around Baltimore to eat, drink, relax, dance and enjoy at our annual Shabbat Across America. Take part in a historic national Jewish event to celebrate that which unifies us all – Shabbat!
Everyone is invited... singles, couples, families – all ages. Bring your friends, neighbors and co-workers, and let’s celebrate together! Hundreds have joined us at previous years’ events – you won’t want to miss this one! It is an opportunity to enjoy good food, good company, and a few moments of meaningful inspiration. The program begins with candle lighting, followed by an explanatory service, and culminates with a delicious dinner. There is no charge for the program and we hope that you will be our guest. The schedule for the evening is as follows:
Candle Lighting: 5:20 - 5:40 pm
Mincha (afternoon) Service: 5:45 pm
Kabbolas Shabbos (Service Welcoming the Sabbath): 6:00 pm
Dinner: 7:00 pm
There is no fee to attend, but reservations are required.
