Nina Beth Cardin, the Baltimore Orchard Project and Locally Sourced Pie Making Demo
Here at the Jewish Museum of Maryland, we love pie! Get baking tips from the founders of B’eat More Pie Fest, Baltimore’s Pie Festival, during a locally-sourced pie-making demo. As our pies bake, Nina Beth Cardin, local Rabbi, environmentalist and social justice activist will tell us about the Baltimore Orchard Project, which aims to grow, glean and give away fruit in all the neighborhoods of Baltimore. Find out how people are getting involved to make Baltimore an even more fruitful place to live and work. Rabbi Cardin is featured in the Chosen Food exhibit, which can also be toured during the program. And of course, stick around to eat some pie in the B’nai Israel sukkah next door!

This event is FREE and DELICIOUS!
