The Cal Ripken World Series is the premier International Amateur Baseball Championship Tournament for the Babe Ruth League’s 12 and under division. From August 9 – 18, 2013, 16 teams will compete in this Tournament at the Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, MD. This is one of the biggest events in Harford County, bringing families from all over the world to Harford County!
There are many new, exciting things this year for the Cal Ripken World Series. The events are listed below:
August 9 – Opening Ceremonies; Skills Competition; Host Team will play Friday night.
August 10 – Parade downtown in Aberdeen. Parade starts at 10:30 am.
August 11 – Splash Day. Some cost to Splash Day. Great way to cool down in the hot, summer month.
August 12 through 18 – Carnival comes to town. There will be some cost to the Carnival, but it will be a lot of fun.
August 18 and 19 – Championship Weekend; Come out and support Harford County for Championship Weekend. Games are televised on CBS Sports Network.
