Congregation Ner Tamid, a Reform Jewish congregation serving West Cobb, Kennesaw, Paulding and surrounding areas, is having a Purim Carnival on Sunday, February 28th from 11:30am-2pm. It will be held at Mountain View Prep, 2320 Baker Rd NW, Acworth, GA 30101, (770) 218-1950.
Featured will be Face Painting, Moon Bounce, reading of the Megillah and a chance to boo Hamen.
Tickets will be sold at the door for games, prizes and food items. Cash only. All proceeds will benefit Congregation Ner Tamid’s religious School. For more information, call 678-264-8575 or e-mail [email protected].
Congregation Ner Tamid holds monthly, rabinically lead evening Shabbat service at borrowed space in Christ Lutheran Church, 176 West Sandtown Rd Marietta, GA 30064. The next service is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26 at 7pm. We also host a monthly Shabbat Torah Service, held at the Legacy Park Clubhouse, 4201 Legacy Park Circle, Kennesaw, GA 30144. This service is from 9:30-11am, followed by Torah study with rabbi until noon. All are invited to attend.
