The entire community is invited to a Yom HaShoah Commemoration sponsored by the Atlanta Rabbinical Association and the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta. The ceremony will feature remarks from Dr. Jerome Legge, a Holocaust scholar and Associate Dean of UGA's School of Public and International Affairs.The ceremony will also include the lighting of the torches and a special musical presentation featuring Cantor Daniel Gale from Temple Beth-El, Birmingham, Alabama. The program will take place in the beautiful Besser Holocaust Memorial Garden at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.
